We are always being asked for suggestions for themed events and “how much” does it cost? The level of cost is determined by how much you want us to do and any additional services you may require.

You may only require us to simply play music in keeping with the theme in which case you would be quoted for a normal function. We have listed below some bullet points of popular combinations and also timelines and suggestions if you want to manage the event yourself.

The 70s was all about disco. The cool image of John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever, with his famous white suit, dancing to disco music, is one that many of us have embedded in our minds forever.

Party Ideas:

This is one of the most popular themed disco's and certainly one of our favourites. We have a massive 70's archive with something for everyone.

Invitations:
One of the most important things about organising a party is the invitation. It’s the window to your party and sets the whole mood. It needs to be novel, eye catching and full of content relevant to your party. For a fun and unique invitation idea, print your party information on the back of tie-dyed fabric.

Invite your guests to wear a fabulous blast from the past tie-dyed T-shirt, very cheap and great fun. Alternatively make T-shirts yourself and personalise them for each guest asking them to accessorise. Another really unique idea for an invite is to find old 45 records and replace the label with your invitation. Mail to guests and Voila! The challenge of course is to find them, try ebay, car boot sales and the like.

Be sure to have your guests come dressed in their 70s best, whether it is bell bottoms, polyester suits, big gold chains or polyester dresses! Have them come as their favorite 70s TV characters! (Remember Starsky and Hutch)

Welcome:
Give each guest who enters a 70’s cocktail to get them in a funky mood.

Decorations:
There are multitudes of things that can be done to decorate your flashback from the 1970s. First of all, hang a beaded curtain at the entrance to welcome all of your guests in 70s style. Hang up famous scenes from the 70’s or use cutouts on the walls, along with vibrantly colored ribbon, crepe streamers, balloons and dress tables with lava lamps.
