We are always being asked for suggestions for themed events and “how much” does it cost? The level of cost is determined by how much you want us to do and any additional services you may require.

You may only require us to simply play music in keeping with the theme in which case you would be quoted for a normal function. We have listed below some bullet points of popular combinations and also timelines and suggestions if you want to manage the event yourself.

From the early 1950's teenagers began listening to rhythm and blues performers like Chuck Berry and Little Richard. Bill Haley and His Comets and Elvis Presley combined rhythm and blues with country producing Rock 'n' Roll.

Party Ideas:

Invitations:
One of the most important things about organising a party is the invitation. It’s the window to your party and sets the whole mood. It needs to be novel, eye catching and full of content relevant to your party.

Search the internet for images from the 50's and use these to make your invitation.

It was an exciting musical decade with the Rock ‘n’ Roll in full swing.

Atmosphere:
You will need a large dance floor if there are going to lots of couples jiving so bear this in mind when choosing the venue.

The two most popular 50's colors were black and pink. Have black and pink streamers, balloons, and even gossamers or sheet rolls of colored paper. Cut out silhouettes of musical notes and records from black paper and dangle them from the ceiling.
